Version 5 to move into BETA

The next major release of the Pepperio CMS, V5 (version 5),  is nearing completion.  After 18 months in development we are currently preparing the software for a Beta Release in the next few weeks, so you can sneak a peek at what will be released as part of your upgrade later this summer.  This release is the most significant since Pepperio’s inception as it sees some fundamental improvements and revisions to the software and architecture including:

  • * Overall improved user experience
  • * New architecture to improve speed and performance
    • * E-commerce module 
    * Improved page editing suite including in-line / in-context editing
  • * Spell checker
    * Custom database functionality
    * Drag and drop menu/tree structures
    * Email template functionality
    * Cut and paste directly from MS Word
    * Improved form building functionality
    * Self service / Sign up online
    * Improved search capability via Google Enterprise Search Appliance
