New and updated Pepperio Tags
User Defined Properties: (%UDP%)
A new powerful tag implemented in this release will allow lists of content to be generated based on meta data saved against pages and documents. This would, for example, allow for the creation of RSS feeds based on categories of content or a list of products defined as “new”.
Page Title Tag (%PAGETITLE%):
This provides developers with a way of referencing and reusing the page title that appears in the head of HTML files.
List Tag (%LIST%):
2 new parameters have been added to the %LIST% tag:
"nextitembuttontemplate = <snippetname>"
"previtembuttontemplate = <snippetname>"
This allows “next” and “previous” navigation links to be generated on the fly for use in gallery style site pages.
Adding Class, ID or Title Attributes to Manual Lists
Attributes for class, Title or ID can now be applied to manual list items for further control over styling of manual lists. Three new Pepperio Tags have been created to assist this feature:
%TITLEATT%,
%CLASSATT%
%IDATT%
Author Meta Tag:
The Author Meta Tag is pre-populated from User details, this can now be left blank.
Other Improvements
Inform Users Feature:
Email Addresses are now not exposed to other recipients of messages.
Templates:
More control over how templates are published is now provided giving developers greater freedom when updating style and layout of sites.
The methods and warnings for deletion of template items have also been improved.
Inbound RSS Feeds:
The timeout for reading and rendering inbound RSS feeds has been increased to account for bottlenecks in connectivity across the internet.
Page Rendering in the Editing Suite:
A number of improvements have been made to the way pages are rendered to the editing suite providing greater WYSIWYG support.
SPAM from form mail:
Security has been increased to prevent automated spamming tools accessing form mail scripts.
